Terms of use and sale.

Last updated: August 2026.

This document is a template to adapt and have reviewed by a legal professional. It does not constitute legal advice. This is a courtesy translation: in case of any discrepancy, the French version prevails.

Purpose

These terms govern the use of the Plage application and its associated services.

Account

You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and the confidentiality of your credentials.

Trial and subscription

Plage offers a free 14-day trial without a card, then a tiered subscription (Student, Solo, Studio). You can change tiers or cancel at any time.

Payment

Payments are collected by Lemon Squeezy, acting as the official reseller (merchant of record) and issuing the invoice in its own name. As such, Lemon Squeezy collects and remits the VAT applicable in your country and processes payment data. No banking data passes through or is stored on our servers.

License

The subscription grants a license to use Plage. One key corresponds to one seat; Studio plans are billed per seat.

Cancellation

You can cancel whenever you wish. Access stays active until the end of the period already paid.

Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have fourteen days from subscribing to withdraw, without having to justify your decision or bear any costs. Simply write to contact@plage.app mentioning your order; the refund is issued within fourteen days of receiving your request, via the same payment method.

We do not ask you to waive it. The law allows a seller to have you waive that right when digital content is delivered immediately. We have chosen not to: your fourteen-day right of withdrawal stays intact, even after the download and even if you have used the software. The free fourteen-day trial, with no bank card, lets you evaluate Plage before any payment anyway — the question should rarely come up.

Complaints and disputes

For any complaint, write first to contact@plage.app: we answer within fifteen working days. If the answer does not satisfy you, you may turn free of charge to a consumer mediator, in accordance with Article L.612-1 of the French Consumer Code; the mediator's details will appear here.

The European Commission also provides an online dispute resolution platform: ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Ownership

The content you create belongs to you. The application, its brand and its code remain the property of the publisher.

Liability

Plage is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amounts paid under the subscription.

Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. The publisher, its contact details and its SIRET number appear in the legal notice. In case of any discrepancy between this translation and the French original, the French version prevails. Contact: contact@plage.app.

CookiesThis site sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. It keeps only two things in your browser: your light-or-dark theme preference, and — if you sign in — your session, until you sign out. Neither is used to track you. You can refuse the theme storage; the session only exists if you open an account, since without it you would be signed out on every page.
